Quick Facts: Pablo Ruiz Y Picasso, known as Pablo Picasso (October 25,1881 - April 8,1973) was a painter, draftsman, engraver, sculptor, ceramist and a Spanish writer, most known of the '' Modernes ''. It is undoubtedly the most complete artist and most brilliant of the XXe century. He is best known as the Co-founder, along with Georges Braques, of cubism.Son of drawing teacher, Jose Ruiz Blasco and his wife Maria Picasso Lopez, he expresses early its talent that his father recognizes very quickly. Allow in 1897 at Art schools of Madrid. He was 16 years old then, but he was more often at Prado (museum) than in class.
