Son of drawing teacher, Jose Ruiz Blasco and his wife Maria Picasso Lopez, he expresses early its talent that his father recognizes very quickly. Allow in 1897 at Art schools of Madrid. He was 16 years old then, but he was more often at Prado (museum) than in class.

In facts, he broke with the artistic traditions while making evolve the Cubism. It is to Picasso that we owes the abstract art. (All that is represented in certain of its works has nothing about to do with reality, for example a face of woman resembles anything, except a face of woman.)

Pablo Picasso will remain until the end a nonconformist, extraordinary character witness of its time and true figurehead of all the modern art.
